Supervisor Neil Derry

For those that are wondering, I did get a response back from him. In reference to TAD, he indicated that Jim will be looking at the organizational structure of the county. Considering Neil has little or no experience with social services, I don’t think we can ask for more than that for now. I do believe that TAD needs to be a priority for the new Ethics Commission.

He did indicate he expects to bring a proposal before the Board of Supervisors for the Ethics Commission mid-January. I think we are all holding our breath hoping that finally we will have something with some teeth to it. I guess we can only wait and see.

Do you think he can look at the Auditor Controller’s office too? Talk about a waste of money……..overstaffed, and they have positions they don’t even need!!!

  2. Little Stevie Wonder Says:

Does the Auditor-Controller also have a parallel “administrative” staff like Postmus had? All the political “appointee” types should definitely go first.
