Marching on the Board of Supervisors

Have you seen the lastest release from SBPEA? Let’s see. Back in September, the SBPEA General manager guaranteed that if you passed a dues increase, you were going to get a great contract because that money was going to be used to bribe all five members of the Board of Supervisors. He was heard numerous times stating that you could expect 5 percent per year, plus additional medical benefits, and longevity pay among other increases. So what has happened? Now, not only does he take extra pay from your check each payday to give to Mitzelfelt, Biane, Hansberger, Ovitt and Gonzales, but he wants you to use your vacation leave to do his job. What happened Bob? I thought you were the savior for San Bernardino County employees?

    This is unbelievable:

So this is what we the employees get after all the bogus promises from Bob Blough at numerous employee rep. meetings. At this time I will refrain from expressing my anger at this situation. I will simply recommend that Mr. Blough be terminated from his position as manager of SBPEA., and shown the door. In addition, if SBPEA contributed $50,000 to the re-election campaign of any board member running for re-election with a view to obtaining a better contract, then Mr. Blough ought be sued for malfeasance and prosecuted for bribery of an elected official.

Take a look at the financial statements of the members of the board of supervisors. It looks like that as soon as the dues increase passed (fraudulently) some or all of the members were given $5000 each from SBPEA. That was done 9-21-07, three days after the Annual Meeting where hundreds of your proxies were voided so that they could pass the dues increase. It also appears that SBPEA plays favorites as different board members received different amounts throughout the year. They all appear to have received multiple donations from SBPEA.

I do not have the information yet for what has been donated to each of the board members in 2008. The $50,000 is not being given all at once but in increments as some information is available on line and some is not.

    I’ll keep you posted.
